Dr. Juan Carlos Andrade, from the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional and Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, will be on Sacramento State campus to discuss current Mexican educational policy with particular emphasis on the education of native peoples in the south of Mexico. He will also discuss the nature of “otherness” and attempts at promoting community citizenship.
